Due to Corona Virus (Covid19) we have needed to postpone our Sea Ranger Centenary plans for 2020.

We had planned a wonderful Service of Celebration with an opportunity to then enjoy tea and cake together. This celebration in Portsmouth (April 2020) had taken the best part of two years to plan, and we would like to thank everybody involved, especially The Rev’d Adam Gay RNR and his colleagues at HMNB Portsmouth and St Ann’s Church.

Over three hundred Sea Rangers, Sea Ranger Cadets, Officers, Friends of Sea Rangers and past members were due to join our select dignitaries to celebrate one hundred years of Sea Rangers, in Portsmouth this April.

Our summer regatta and camp have been postponed, as have our boating base weekends and the open days for past Sea Rangers.

Sea Rangers have also cancelled face-to-face Crew meetings during lock-down, but have successfully run musters over the internet for members.

As soon as we are able we will be sharing new dates for your diaries for all of the postponed events. The Centenary celebrations will now be held in 2021.
