Sea Rangers has helped me develop skills for the future and I think it has helped me prepare for a future career in the Navy.
Natasha, age 15, Sea Ranger – SRS Wakeful

After joining Sea Rangers as a Cadet 5 years ago I have made many friends & learnt a lot of new skills. Now as a Sea Ranger I look forward to all the opportunities that it gives me. In this this past year I’ve done many things- I went to The Thames Traditional Boat Festival. Rose Cottage where I learnt to improve my skills as a Cox by helping the GRR team & take the gig through the locks which I had never done before. I attended the Great River Race as reserve & cheered the team on. I’m so proud to be part of this wonderful organisation.

Mia, age 14, Sea Ranger – SRS Churchill

I joined Sea Rangers because it gives us great opportunities and new skills, like map reading and first aid.
Amelia, age 12, Cadet Sea Ranger – SRS Wakeful

I joined Sea Rangers as a 13 yr old and found that the leadership from the Officers kept me on the right path during my teenage years.  They gave me opportunities and challenges that I never thought I could achieve. They believed in my abilities and these skills I have kept and use to this day when running SRS Wakeful and through my working career in teaching.

Julie, Officer - SRS Wakeful

Sea Rangers has been such a positive experience for our daughter. We’ve seen a real growth in her confidence, and she always comes away smiling. Every meeting is fun, whether she’s on the water or at the headquarters. The creativity, encouragement and friendliness of the crew make Sea Rangers a truly special place where girls can learn new skills and build confidence.
